ARE YOU SEARCHING FOR GOD IN YOUR LIFE?
The desire for God is written in the human heart, because man is created by God and for God; and God never ceases to draw man to himself. Only in God will he find the truth and happiness he never stops searching for.
(Catechism of the Catholic Church, #27)
WHAT IS THE O.C.I.A. PROGRAM?
The OCIA is a spiritual journey that leads to a transformation of mind and spirit. The main goal is to assist women and men in their spiritual quest to discover God's will in their lives. Through sessions designed to teach the Catholic faith, adults may embrace Catholicism and choose to become active members of the Church.
OCIA IS FOR ADULTS WHO:
- Were never baptized
- Were baptized in another Christian denomination and may desire to become Catholic
- Were baptized as Catholics, but never received Communion (Eucharist) and Confirmation
To learn more or register for OCIA at St. Luke Catholic Church,

WHEN ARE THE OCIA SESSIONS OFFERED?
Every Tuesday night, from 6:30 to 7:50 PM. in the Father Courtney Reception Room. Sessions begin after Labor Day and conclude during the Easter Season.
IS THERE SOMETHING COMPARABLE FOR CHILDREN?
For unbaptized older children (age 8 and above), and older children baptized in other Christian denominations, we have the OCIC (Order of Christian Initiation of Children) on Sunday mornings. For more information, contact Sister Diane.
