Stewardship and Evangelization

Dear St. Luke Community,

Stewardship season returns this fall with an emphasis on the Year of Mission, the 3rd and cumulative year of the Eucharistic Revival movement in the United States.  A missionary fire, enkindled by the Holy Spirit in our dioceses and parishes the last two years, sparked the National Eucharistic Congress this summer. The Holy Spirit is now asking every member of the Church to spread the gifts of our Eucharistic Lord to those in our St. Luke community and beyond our doors.

I suggest the best way to do this is by participating in the Sacramental Life of the Church, and embracing our family of ministries to support and fulfill the Church’s mission as given to us:

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the

name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching

them to obey everything that I have commanded you.” (Matthew 28:19-20)

As God shared Himself on the Cross, let us now share what we have to further build our community and welcome others to the gifts of St. Luke.  You can find a complete listing of our ministries at stluke.org/care or by scanning the QR code below. Please prayerfully consider how God is calling you to support His Church financially and with the unique gifts He has bestowed on you!

I welcome your questions, your interests and any feedback you want to provide about living a stewardship life by acknowledging God’s gifts through thanksgiving, developing those gifts, sharing them with each other, and returning them with increase to Him.

In Christ,

Therese Hartley

Director of Evangelization and Stewardship
