Financial Stewardship Commitment
To fulfill your financial stewardship as an active parishioner in good standing, you must regularly contribute to Sunday Offertory Collections.
Fr. Joe Moriarty challenges parishioners to match his online contribution to Sunday Offertory Collections ($100 biweekly or $2,600 per year) or, if current giving exceeds this, increase your offering by at least the rate of inflation (currently 3-4%) to meet budget needs for increased costs. In determining your financial stewardship at St. Luke, also consider the biblical tithe on giving treasure is 10% of your earned income; the Church recommends giving 5% to your parish, 2% to the Archdiocese, and 3% to other charities of your choice.
Qualifying for Active Parishioner Tuition Rate at St. Luke School
One of the requirements to receive the Active Parishioner Tuition Rate is financially supporting St. Luke parish through generous and recurring Sunday Offertory Collections. Setting up recurring, online giving to the "St. Luke Church Donation" fund is the easiest and preferred method. All of the requirements for the Active Parishioner Tuition Rate are listed on the school website under parishioner expectations and are summarized on the tuition handout.

Parish Financial Aid Fund managed by St. Luke and the St. Luke Scholarship Granting Organization (SGO) Fund administered by The Institute of Quality of Education; these funds provide further financial aid to St. Luke families, and the contributors to the SGO Fund receive an Indiana state tax credit of 50% of the donation in addition to federal deduction if itemized on tax return.
