Coach Ryan Hasbrook will oversee the return of RAMS Wrestling in 2010-11! No prior experience or wrestling knowledge is needed. We will teach you all you need to know to be champion.
RAMS WRESTLING Age Group: Grades 5 - 8
Season: See information below. Team entries are due in to CYO by 12/22. CYO Coaches Meeting is Jan 26, 2012. Matches begin Feb. 7, 2012.
2011-12 Fee: $75.00
Uniforms and Equipment: Parents must purchase headgear and shoes. Singlets will be provided by Coach Hasbrook.

LITTLE RAMS WRESTLING Age Group: Grades 3-4
This program is an introduction to the fundamentals in the sport of wrestling. Boys in Grades 3 and 4 will practice with the CYO Wrestling team (Boys in Grades 5-8) but only participate in "exhibition tournaments" hosted by the various parishes. CLICK HERE TO REGISTER.
Program Updates from Coach HAZ:
Tentative Start Dates: Practices will start as soon as December for those not playing basketball. All other boys will be expected to report in January.
Practice Schedule: Days of the week and times for practice are yet to be determined. Location: Practices will be held at the Indiana School for the Blind and Visually Impaired (7725 North College Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana 46240)
Weight Classes: We have 18 weight classes to field (65lb - 275lbs). No one is too small or too big to compete.
Grades: Grades 5 - 8 are eligible to compete in the City Tournament and Dual meets. If your son is in grades 3- 4 and is interested, please contact Coach Ryan Hasbrook or register for the Little RAMS wrestling program. At this time, boys in Grades K-2 are not eligible.

Dear St. Luke Parents and Students,
The St. Luke Wrestling Rams are excited to build on a very successful first season last year. With a large number of returning medalists from last year’s City Tournament, we are excited as ever to grow our team to compete with the CYO’s toughest athletes. My coaches and I have spoken to a number of your kids on the football fields and around school. The wrestling season begins after the first of the year with practices and meets at the Indiana School for the Blind at 77th and College. Open Mats will start on Monday nights over the Christmas Holidays for anyone interested in trying the sport for the first time.
Wrestling will give your sons a new perspective on competition from physical stamina to mental toughness. It is one of the few individual sports offered by the Catholic Youth Organization. Registration is open now! If you have not done so, please go in to stluke.org and register for wrestling. If you want to see pictures of practices, tournaments, or clinics, check us out on Facebook at St. Luke Rams Wrestling. There are no evaluations for the sport and all participants will receive multiple matches regardless of grade, weight, or skill level. Wrestling is open to Grades 3-8.

CYO Program Overview:
Season Time Frame: Early February - Mid-March
Age Group: 5 - 8
The CYO Boys Wrestling Program is open to boys in grades 5 - 8 with competition divided into 18 separate weight classes- 65, 70, 75, 80, 85, 90, 95, 100, 105, 112, 119, 126, 134, 143, 152, 163, 175, and 275.
The 2011 CYO Boys Wrestling Program is scheduled to begin February 7, 2011 and will conclude with the City Wrestling Tournament on March 10 and 11, 2011. If you have any questions regarding rules, regulations or schedules, please contact Ed Tinder at 632-9311.
