Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion assist the priest in the sharing of communion at Masses and communion services. To become an Extraordinary minister at St. Luke, one must complete a training that includes both the theological and liturgical background for this ministry, as well as the practical aspects of assisting in the sharing of communion. Training is not offered each year, but is prominently announced when it is available.
These guidelines were used at our last EMHC training, held in the Spring of 2006.
Services begin promptly at 7:30 or 8:00 a.m. Click on the link above to download the schedule. Thank you for helping in this Eucharistic Ministry.
