A message from the principal:

I want to welcome you to St. Luke Catholic School and our website. St. Luke School is a parish school committed to a quality, faithful education based in Catholic values and traditions.

We have been serving the north side of Indianapolis for over forty-five years. We are recognized as a National Blue Ribbon School by the U.S. Department of Education and classified as an “Exemplary” school by the Indiana Department of Education. Our students take the solid foundation in faith, academics, the arts, sciences and the self-discipline developed at St. Luke and are successful at the best high schools in the area.

We strive to be a welcoming community with many ways for students and parents to become involved and active members of the school and parish. There is a very active PTO and CYO athletic program. Parents have over fifty volunteer choices to become involved with the school and parish.

Every grade has an age-appropriate retreat experience.

Students take an active part in worship as lectors, gift bearers, cantors and servers. Students may opt to take instrumental music, either strings or band, to expand both creativity and discipline. All students have performance experiences every year. Our middle school students successfully compete in regional speech contests and “Academic Olympics”. The student council provides leadership and service opportunities.

Our professional teachers are dedicated to providing faithful witness, caring classroom environment and challenging instructional experiences for our students. Our teachers represent a balanced mix of experience and youth. They make a
long-term commitment to Catholic school education.

We offer a rigorous curriculum that meets or exceeds our already high state standards. Our testing results show a high level of student academic growth that is clearly related to the skill of our teachers and the hard work of our students.

Please check out the information on the website and contact me directly should you wish more information about our school or have any questions. You may call 317-255-3912 x 223 or e-mail at sweber@stluke.org.

May the Lord bless you and your family.

Sincerely,

Steve Weber
