Matrimony


Marriage is a “covenant or partnership of life between a man and woman, which is ordered to the well-being of the spouses and to the procreation and upbringing of children. When validly contracted between two baptized people, marriage is a sacrament”
(Catechism of the Catholic Church, 1601).
Before beginning sacramental marriage preparation and setting a wedding date at St. Luke Catholic Church, there are a few items that you should review.
St. Luke Catholic Church does not charge a fee for use of the church/chapel, brides’ room and Fr. Courtney Reception Room for weddings. However, there are a number of fees and suggested donations of which you should be aware.
“A wedding is not a private affair or happening. Every marriage is an act of liturgy, of public worship.
