Faded Cross
Saint Luke Title
Our new website has what is called an "RSS feed" for the four main content areas we place on the web. You can see the areas on the front page -- they are called "Parish Blog" and they are divided into four categories: News, Church Information, Athletic Program Information, and School Information.

Most modern email programs (Apple Mail, Mozilla Thunderbird, Microsoft Outlook) have ways to integrate RSS feeds right into your email inbox!

To subscribe to our "RSS feeds," follow the instructions of your email program or RSS reader. Each is a little different.
On our website, click on the "View All" button under the "Parish Blog" column. You will be taken to a page that lists all of our items, by the categories noted above.

Click on the title of the "feed" that interests you: either News, Church, Athletic, or School. On the left, you will see a small RSS icon or button, with the word "Subscribe." If you "left click," or "control click," you will be given an option to copy the link. Or, you can simply click on the link and it will open in your web browser. Copy the link location, and paste the URL into your RSS feed reader or email program, per its instructions.

One of the weaknesses of RSS is that there is no easy method to subscribe to feeds. There is not a "one click" method to pick an RSS Feed and subscribe to it. But, subscribing to the RSS feeds is the only manual task involved in the process of using the RSS feed reader. After you have subscribed to the feeds, the RSS Feeder takes over the process of reading each RSS feed, finding any item that is new, and delivering each new item to the RSS reader for your reading pleasure.
