Appeal for Clemency - URGENT

Please consider sending an electronic appeal for clemency for Kenneth Foster, scheduled to be executed tonight, August 30. The case is particularly troubling.
Some of you know the story of Kenneth Foster, scheduled to be executed by the state of Texas tonight at 7:00 EDT. His case is particularly outrageous because he did not kill anyone, as the state acknowledges. He was the driver of a car from which the man who killed Michael LaHood jumped out and shot LaHood. The murderer has already been executed.
Various groups participated in a vigil at the Supreme Court calling for a halt to Kenneth Foster’s execution. They were told that two Dallas newspapers have called for clemency, as well as Bishop DiNardo, Jimmy Carter, and Archbishop Tutu. Letters can be sent to Texas Governor Rick Perry.
