Continue Action on Immigration Reform

Friday was a bad day for immigration reform, as the Senate voted against cloture and to move toward final consideration of S.1348, thereby stalling consideration of this legislation in the Senate.
Majority Leader Reid, however, has indicated that the Senate could return to the legislation in the near future. Justice For Immigrants (JFI) urges contacting senators urging them to return to consideration of S. 1348, a critically important bill, as soon as possible and renew efforts to strengthen family unity in the bill.
