Topic: Got Mercy? Don’t Leave Lent Without It! Bio: Beth Leonard is a cradle Catholic who was inspired by meditation and prayer to write Bible studies. She uses true stories and contemporary thoughts to bring biblical verses to life in readers’ hearts and minds. Her three spiritual loves—Holy Scripture, Sacred Mass, and the Catechism of the Catholic Church are beautifully woven into each chapter and every talk she presents. Beth lives with her husband, Bill, in Carmel, Indiana and is a parishioner of Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish.

Topic: Decisions Determine Our Destiny Bio: Mike McCoy, a native of Erie, Pennyslvania, graduated from the University of Notre Dame where he played football and was a Consensus All-American. He was chosen UPI Lineman of the Year and was sixth in the Heisman Trophy balloting his senior year. He was the #1 draft choice of the Green Bay Packers where he played defensive tackle. He played eleven years in the NFL—seven with Green Bay, two with the Oakland Raiders, and two with the New York Giants. As President of Mike McCoy Ministries, he speaks to Catholic school students and educators, at Catholic Men’s Rallies, in prisons, and to parent and coaches through the Play Like a Champion program. He promotes values-based decision making and preparing youth to deal with every-changing currents of cultural pressure.

Topic: The Way We Pray: The Jewish Roots of Our Worship of God Bio: Born and raised in Indianapolis, Father Pat was ordained a priest for the Archdiocese of Indianapolis in 1998. He has served as the associate pastor at St. Monica Church and as chaplain of Cardinal Ritter Junior/Senior High School in Indianapolis. He also served as pastor of the parishes of St. Michael and Holy Guardian Angels in Franklin County. In 2009, he earned an S.T.L., with a specialization in liturgical theology from the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross in Rome. From 2009-2013, he served as the Vice Rector of Bishop Bruté College Seminary, Indianapolis, and the Director of Liturgy in the Office of Worship. Presently, he is the rector of Saints Peter and Paul Cathedral and the executive director of the Secretariat for Worship and Evangelization.

Ken and his family worship at St. Pius X.
