This is a study of Holy Scripture which begins with an introduction to this work and how it relates to the rest of the New Testament. Careful and prayerful study then is made of the writing itself, i.e., verse by verse, chapter by chapter readings, whereby deeper understanding may be gained about intent of the author. The teaching approach is informal, including open discussion, questioning and application to the truths the Catholic Faith.
Purchase of the resource book, "The Letter to the Hebrews," by Scott Hahn and Curtis Mitch (Ignatius Press) $11.75, is optional but encouraged. Basically, just bring your Bible. Please notify the instructor of your interest in the class by phone (317) 797- 8699 or email.
